General Data Protection Regulation Workshop

By next spring, the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EU (GDPR) will be directly applicable in all EU Member States and companies are currently taking steps to comply with the Regulation's rules.

Guidance for businesses is currently being produced at European and national levels and in this perspective the EBU decided to organize a workshop focussing on the key priorities for media service providers. It therefore invited 5 experts in the field to provide Members with a general overview of the new rules, including from the angle of the proposal for an ePrivacy Regulation, but also practical hands on information such as how to build a compliance plan.
