Monitoring and checking user-generated content has become an integral part of all newsroom operations. With the rise in so-called fake news, it is important to understand how these skills may help the industry find solutions.
This masterclass will equip you with both the knowledge and skills that you need in the newsroom to use digital sources fast, accurately and ethically, whether from political campaigns, natural disasters, war or conflict.
In practical workshops, scenario-based training, facilitated discussions, and guides to the best tools and technologies, you will learn the building blocks of workable digital newsgathering workflows and verification processes for your own newsrooms.
