Partnership Programme Scholarships

Opportunities to join courses with the help of financial aid

The EBU Partnership Programme (EPP) offers two different types of scholarships to candidates of EPP-eligible Members:

Mentoring scholarships

This is for media professionals who wish to gain experience through a mentoring scheme with a fellow EBU Member broadcaster. The EPP finds willing and qualified experts to mentor candidates. This involves three stages:

  1. Assessment - the mentor visits the candidate at their workplace
  2. Research - the candidate visits the mentor at their organisation
  3. Implementation stage - the candidate implements new skills accordingly, with follow-up advice from the mentor when necessary

Curricular scholarships

This is for candidates who wish to participate in courses run by the EUROVISION ACADEMY which their organisations would otherwise be unable to afford.

The scholarship gives media professionals from these broadcasters the opportunity to take part in Academy Master Classes. We also take into consideration candidates who wish to participate in other types of training.

Registration fee, accommodation and travel are covered for candidates that belong to Members eligible for full Partnership Programme support. Registration fee alone is covered for candidates belonging to Members with partial Partnership Programme support.

Candidates are chosen by a jury who consider applicants' professional experience, motivation, and ability to harness and spread the knowledge and experience acquired.
