International Romani Day
In conjunction with International Romani Day on 8 April and in keeping with the EBU's Strategic Initiative on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), the Music Unit is making available to EBU radio organizations an offer featuring music from Europe's largest ethnic minority.
Euroradio World Music Workshop
Symbolic of today’s global culture, World Music is a fusion of non-Western traditional music with contemporary elements, from afrobeat to club sounds, from Tuareg rock in Timbuktu to samba in Brazil.
World Radio Day
World Radio Day (WRD) on 13 February marks the anniversary of the first broadcast by UN Radio in 1946, when it transmitted its first call sign: "This is the United Nations calling the peoples of the world."
Every year, around 3,500 concerts are offered and taken by EBU radio organizations, representing the world's largest exchange of music of all kinds: classical, jazz, folk, world and rock/pop.
