21st Eurovision Connect begins in Ljubjljana
22 May 2017The 21st Eurovision Connect event began on Monday (22 May) in the Slovenian captial Ljubljana, in collaboration with RTVSLO.
More than 180 executives in marketing, branding, promotion & media planning from 50 media organisations are attending the 2 day event to share insights about broadcast marketing.
Ahead of the event, Vitold Grand'Henry business advisor at French Belgian Member RTBF and Chairman of the Eurovision Connect steering group said: "Eurovision Connect is a promo and marketing conference with a growing scope since it was founded 21 years ago. It started as a TV promo seminar. The focus is now clearly on cross media and digital marketing. In 2017, the scope is broadening further into the holistic impacts of marketing into a company's life."

The first day of the event will conclude with the Eurovision Connect Awards Ceremony to celebrate the best of promotional campaigns on public service media.
5 finalists have been shortlisted in each of the 15 categories from an original pool of 200 entries. The delegates attending Eurovision Connect have the opportunity to vote live for their favourite entries during 2 voting sessions.
