Helsinki, venue of 2017 LTPS

We're almost exactly a year away from the LTPS finals in Barcelona on Sunday 13 October 2019, and excitement is building already! Don't wait, register your ensemble by 1 November 2018.

LTPS originated in 1961 as a BBC contest for British choruses. Since then, under the aegis of the EBU, it has become one of the major choral competitions on the international music scene.

A prestigious international jury selects the top group in each of three categories (Children and Youth, Adult and Open, i.e. a specific musical style or genre),  as well as an overall winner, recipient of the highly coveted Silver Rose Bowl.

The 2017 LTPS was hosted by Euroradio Member YLE at Helsinki's Musiikkitalo (Music Centre) on 14-15 October. This edition was a multimedia event, broadcast live by Euroradio Members and Finnish TV and streamed on the Web.
