Live event coverage on social platforms

Under the supervision of faculty member Mark Egan, and in collaboration with Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival the Eurosonic Group, a selected group of radio producers and listeners from EBU Radio Members will:

  • learn about innovative social media storytelling techniques and tools to cover live music event on social platforms, including live streaming
  • implement and test tools and techniques to provide enhanced social media coverage of the 2018 European Border Breakers Awards and of the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival

The goal of this programme is to  increase the visibility and reach of the 2018 European Border Breakers Awards and of the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival through innovative coverage on social platforms

  • help the EBU Members involved in the Festival to produce additional coverage on social platforms and increase the reach of the content produced during the festival
  • promote audiences’ engagement
  • use the scheme to test/run pilots on new and innovative ways of covering live music festivals
