On our first day, we will visit La Maison de la radio, the landmark headquarters of Radio France. During our visit, we will gain insights into Radio France Digital, the department handling innovative products and services, as well as the Accélerateur d'idées while also learning about the overall strategy driving and implementing innovation within the organization.
On the second day we will visit Station F where we will discover how Radio France uses the 'world's biggest start-up campus' to connect with start-ups and leverage Open Innovation.
On both days, participants will be invited to take part in brainstorming workshops and test methods for stimulating internal creativity and improving the impact of Open Innovation within their organization.
Implementing Open Innovation is a strategic programme jointly run by the EBU Technology and Innovation Department and EBU Academy (part of the EBU Media Department). The aim is to explore how EBU Members – and others – can successfully take good ideas from proof-of-concept to prototype, to a beta version and, hopefully, to a ‘business-as-usual’ operation. Its secondary aim is to ensure that projects without potential are discarded early on, thus avoiding tying up financial resources.
