TikTok is the most talked about social media platform of 2020. The use of the app has been growing rapidly and it is thought to have more than 800 million users with the majority being young females. 
Join faculty member Justin Kings to explore how public media can use TikTok to engage users with news and current affairs. Learn more through a case study from Germany’s flagship TV news brand Tagesschau, which has seen impressive success with its TikTok content. Justin will also address the considerable challenges that TikTok brings, including data security concerns and the fact it is primarily based around music and entertainment.
