Executive Programme 6th alumni reunion

Comprising of 140 top executives, the Executive Programme Alumni group is a unique network that allows peers to discuss personal challenges and gain insights from trusted colleagues.

This year the Alumni reunion has to be on-line due to COVID-19 restrictions. We have set up a nice agenda with breakout sessions that will allow you to meet your fellow partners on Zoom.

Content Outline:

Business: Update on business strategy adapted to the present situation
Innovation: Thinking outside the box by sharing ideas on the future of PSM
Strategy: Looking at what the models used in designing new strategies can do to help prepare the post-covid time for PSM

Schedule

09:00: Welcome by Frederic Frantz. 

09:10-09:50: Break-out sessions, meet your friends and each year’s alumni catch up

09:50-10:00: Update, Debrief and little stories 

10:00-11:30: Strategic Session with Mike Rosenberg 

  • Critical review: Revisit the strategy models (Porter’s 5 forces, Delta Model, Will-ingness to pay, etc.) vis a vis the current crisis. 
  • How did these models help to cope with the 2020 crisis? 
  • How can we anticipate industry next moves? 
  • Think concretely about what PSM's next big strategic moves should be to remain relevant in future.

11:30-11:40: Coproduction is a must!

Henrik Hartmann from Nordvision – Executive Programme 2015 - will present the successful model of Nordic collaboration and coproduction on Drama/Fiction and the new model on Children's Fiction. 

Henrik is Secretary General of Nordvision (PSM partnership between DR, NRK, RUV, SR, SVT and Yle). He holds a Masters in communications and political sciences from University of Roskilde, Denmark. Henrik has worked in media for 35 years, as a TV producer and journalist, Head of Production, editor and managing editor for independent production companies and at DR.

11:45-12:00: Close to the people despite the distance – how RTR managed the crisis

Flavio Bundi from RTR (Executive Programme 2019 alumni) will speak about what RTR overcame the covid crisis and managed to stay connected to its audience. 

After graduating from high school, Flavio served for four years in the Pontifical Swiss Guard in Rome and then studied German studies, media and political science in Bern. He has been Editor-in-Chief of Radiotelevisiun Svizra Rumantscha RTR since 2017. 

12:00-12:10: Closing remarks by Petr Dvořák, General Manager of Czech TV, EBU Vice President and Executive Programme 2014.
