Why PSM need to tackle the challenges of cybersecurity

This free online learning session will take place from 13:00 to 14:00 CET via Zoom.

Although cybersecurity has become a common topic in the news, recent events have demonstrated that many media organizations are still not fully aware or properly protected against cyber threats and risks.

Relevant cybersecurity measures and policies are needed to ensure that systems, infrastructures and procedures used along production and distribution workflows do not create security breaches which would leave organizations vulnerable to cyber attacks and possibly unable to ensure broadcast continuity.

This session will outline the key elements of a successful cybersecurity programme including awareness campaigns, security governance policies, media systems and software security, vulnerability management procedures and why you need to set up a Security Operations Center (SOC).

Who it's for:

  • IT security, IT managers and staff
  • Technology managers

Skills learned:

Safety: Review the key elements of a successful cybersecurity programme
Strategy: Understand and establish a clear cybersecurity strategy to ensure the business continuity of your organization
