This workshop is part of the Public Service Media (PSM) Contribution to Society Strategic Initiative and is aimed at staff from EBU Members who are involved in demonstrating the value that citizens get from their organization.
If you are moving forward with a Contribution to Society project within your organization, if you are considering starting an initiative of this kind, or if you simply think this approach might help to improve your corporate strategy, this event is for you.
The target audience includes people responsible for researching the value delivered to citizens and the impact of content and services of public broadcasters, strategists working on defining how their organizations respond to societal issues and maximize the value delivered to citizens, and comms people tasked with explaining the value brought by their company to different stakeholders.
In this workshop you will benefit from meeting your fellow peers who are already involved in PSM Contribution to Society initiatives. We will exchange best practices, raise questions and you will leave with valuable solutions to bring back to your own organization.

Public Value Event
The previous evening, from 19:00 to 21:00, ORF kindly invites the attendees to the presentation of its public value report “Mission 2019: ORF for Europe” in the “Platform EUROPE // resist- renew- reload” event (in German, no translation available). This public debate will be broadcasted on ORF III.
This event is taking place at ORF Funkhaus, Argentinierstrasse 30, 1040 Vienna.
Welcome Dinner
A welcome dinner will take place after the Public Value Event at 21:15 at the Restaurant Entler, Schlüsselgasse 2, 1040 Vienna.
