New PDG for Romanian Television
Alexandru Lazescu has been appointed new President Director General at Romanian Television as of July 1, 2010. Mr Lazescu (born in 1956), who succeeds Alexandru Sassu, has been nominated for a mandate of 4 years.

New PDG for the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation
András István Demeter is the new President Director General of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation. Mr Demeter succeeds Mrs Maria Toghina, who was PDG of Radio Romania between June 2005 and June 2010. The handover ceremony took place on 2 July.

2010 Euroradio Summer Festivals
