Documentary Experts Meeting & Pitching Sessions - 2026 Spring Session

The 2026 Spring sequel of the EBU Documentary Experts meeting/pitching session will take place in Paris, on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 June 2026 at the headquarters of France Télévisions.

Participation

• Registrations are now open, and delegates are welcome to confirm their participation by hitting the REGISTER button on the right of this page.
• All representatives attending the EBU meeting in person will be required to complete a personal form.
• Registrations will close on Friday 5 June.

Attendance Policy

• The Lead Broadcaster is responsible for pitching the project in person.
• Production teams are welcome to attend and take part in the live pitch; however, their in-person presence is not mandatory. If they cannot attend, they may submit a pre-recorded pitch (max. 7 minutes), which must include a trailer.
• Each pitch will be followed by a Q&A session for attendees in the room only. If the production team is not present, the Lead Broadcaster will handle all questions. Any that remain unanswered will be followed up after the session.
• Remote participation is not possible.
• All pitch-related costs must be covered directly by either the Lead Broadcaster or the filmmakers.
• Independent Producers attending in person may only be present during their own pitches (see attached agenda). They are not permitted to join lunches or group discussions, which are reserved for EBU Documentary Group members and broadcasters’ representatives.
• Independent Producers are warmly invited to join the Group drinks at the end of Day 1.

Access & Security

On both days, delegates will need to reach the venue ahead of the start of the meeting to undergo the mandatory security controls at the entrance of France TV. Please refer to the agenda for more information.

Delegates will need to present a valid ID or passport at the entrance. Please mind this when making your travel arrangements, making sure not to arrive at the very last moment.
