VISION2020 AT THE POLIS JOURNALISM CONFERENCE

Vision2020 Project Manager Ruurd Bierman is one of the distinguished speakers from across the different media sectors - broadcast, print and online - taking part in the annual Polis Journalism Conference.

Other participants include Nick Davies (The Guardian), Cilla Benkö (Swedish Radio); Asun Gomez (RTVE); Barbara Serra (Al Jazeera); Philippa Kennedy (The Sun); Steve Hewlett (BBC Radio 4 Media Show) and many others.

The event is run in collaboration with the BBC and Polis, the journalism and society think-tank at the LSE.

The event brings together journalists, broadcasters, media students and academics from around the world.

The Polis conference is unusual because it combines high-level debate about media issues with very practical demonstrations of how to make the best journalism today. This theme this year is 'Trust'.
