Watt Nytt (What's New) — Svenska Yle

Watt Nytt is the news programme produced by Svenska YLE, the Swedish-language channel of Finland’s public broadcaster, for children aged 10 to 12. The programme was launched in March 2021 by the channel’s kids brand “Watt”, after a year of pandemic lockdowns, going fully digital on their platform YLE Areena and on TikTok.
The philosophy behind Watt Nytt is to make news cool for children and encourages them to respond to the news and express their opinions, highlighting topics that affect their everyday life.
