8th News Assembly

The 8th News Assembly will take place on Tuesday, 12 November from 13:00-18:00 and on Wednesday, 13 November from 09:00-17:00 at Palmeraie Golf Palace Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco.

The highlights of this year’s News Assembly include:

• Proposed revision of the rules governing the Eurovision News Exchange
• An illuminating perspective from Professor Hans Rosling - one of Time magazine’s 2012 world's 100 most influential people - on how global statistics can challenge common myths and misconceptions about the world
• A discussion about the future of Public Service Media based on the findings of the EBU Vision2020 project - challenges and strategic recommendations

All participants are also cordially invited to News Assembly dinner on the evening of 12 November.
