“Network & Learn” pre-talks
On Thursday 17 October, all delegates will be invited to attend a pre-event which will this year include two pre-talks (reserved for EBU Members).
These two parallel pre-talks will focus on specific needs for public service broadcasters: one will be dedicated to innovative technology projects and initiatives, while the other will cover content production workflow and organization. With these pre-talks, our intention is to allocate more time for effective and open discussions based on some user cases, and facilitate participants interactions in small groups.

About the EBU Access Services Group
The EBU Access Services Experts Group brings together broadcast professionals from access services such as subtitling, signed programmes, audio description and audio subtitling which enable sensory impaired people to access public broadcasters' content all over Europe.
This group meets once a year to raise the most important questions during a plenary session which has become, over the years, the meeting point for those working in accessibility services across EBU organizations.
This event is a great opportunity to meet with other colleagues working in media accessibility and share projects, exchange best practices and learn from each other’s innovations and approaches. Participants will get the chance to cross-pollinate ideas and exchange, not only with their peers, but also with people from the rest of the industry and European associations.
More information about last year's meeting can be found on the 2018 Access Services event page.
