48th International Feature Conference

The 48th International Feature Conference, IFC AudioDocs, will take place on 22-26 May 2022 in Cardiff, Wales, at the kind invitation of BBC Cymru Wales.

The event will bring together documentary makers from across the globe to listen to the year's best, most innovative and powerful pieces. In addition to daily listening sessions, there will be events and activities to showcase Cardiff as a city and Wales’ unique culture.

The theme of this year’s edition is: The End of Radio

Is the radio set a thing of the past? As the competition for our time and attention grows, growing numbers are choosing to listen on phones, smart speakers, computers and tablets, platforms which offer access to a seemingly endless stream of listening. How will this change the stories we tell, and the ways that we tell them?

At IFC AudioDocs 2022, we explore the future of the audio doc and discover new ways in which the art of audio will delight the audiences of the future.
