Digital Unit Activity Report
We’ll use this time to take a comprehensive look at the work of the Digital Unit, with a focus on impactful projects that are helping shape the future of public service media. We’ll reflect on key learnings from this year’s Transformation Services projects and examine evolving platform strategies - particularly in the context of Connected Cars, regulatory developments, and the growing importance of in-car dashboards.
We’ll also review future-facing initiatives, including the EBU Game Co-production & Exchange and share an update on the Young Audiences initiative, exploring how it continues to evolve in response to changing consumption habits.

From Ideas to Impact - Making Innovation Work for PSM
Many new initiatives are coming up regarding innovation for Public Service Media. During this panel, we want to discuss how innovation can be implemented in beneficial ways for public service media. We will discuss different models of making innovation work from the new PPP from Future Media Hubs to EBU’s new Strategic Innovation Fund and present a case study from AMPTV supported by the Media Innovation Fund and share the experience of the Public Spaces Incubator.

Together with the Transformation Services team, we will explore forward-looking strategies and organizational models that empower PSM to adapt, innovate, and thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
This session features real stories from PSM and insights from academic research based on fieldwork in PSM organizations. You’ll have the chance to reflect, exchange ideas, and discuss practical options with your peers as we navigate the future of digital in PSM together.
