Euroradio members gather in New York on 11 and 12 March 2011

This year, Euroradio members will gather in New York on 11 and 12 March for two big events:
AMPPR annual meeting
Limor Tomer, the Director of the New York classical music radio station WQXR, will welcome EBU radio delegates to the AMPPR annual meeting, which will focus on the Web, HD and podcasting:
- Developing content for a new media age: using the Web as its own platform, not as an extension of the air
- Leapfrogging the stream and going straight to the mobile device: strategies for creating content-to-go
- Legal and rights issues regarding podcasting
- Relations with orchestras, festivals, competitions and opera houses
The Metropolitan Opera
The Metropolitan Opera will be pleased to welcome Euroradio members on Saturday, 12 March with a backstage tour and the broadcast performance of the Met's highly acclaimed new production of Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov, starring René Pape, Mikhail Petrenko, Vladimir Ognovenko, Evgeny Nikitin, Oleg Balashov, Aleksandrs Antonenko and Ekaterina Semenchuk with Valery Gergiev conducting.
