On Thursday, 29 and Friday, 30 September 2011, the EBU Music Group is meeting in Barcelona at the kind invitation of Catalunya Ràdio. Under the leadership of the Chair, Friedrich Spangemacher (SR), and the Vice-Chair, Jorunn Hope (NRK), the current Group members are being joined by the new members elected for the period 2012-2013.

Discussions will focus essentially on current and future Euroradio Music activities, the 2011 Euroradio Summer Festivals, Euroradio Season and programming and planning, the Season of the Metropolitan Opera in New York, financial, technical and legal aspects of music exchanges, as well as a presentation by the host organization ESCAT on the music policy at Catalunya Ràdio and a keynote speech by a representative from the Catalonian College of Music - L’Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya.
