Eurovision ACADEMY: a licence to skill
19 octobre 2012

The Eurovision assembly in Budapest for Training & Development leaders in Public Service Media (PSM) was the forum to launch the Eurovision ACADEMY, formerly known as EBU TRAINING.
EBU Media Director Annika Nyberg said the change in name was in recognition of the work accomplished since the unit was established in 1999.
"Helping Members to be at the cutting edge of media and technology development is the core of the Eurovision ACADEMY remit," she said. "The ACADEMY's three-pillar strategy acknowledges that. Our goal is to be at the forefront of Member business development and to be attentive to their needs.”
The steering committee for the Eurovision ACADEMY was also elected during the Assembly. Their mandate will run until October 2014.
