This year finals will take place in Bratislava on 10 October. The broadcast of the event will start at 18:05 GMT and will culminate in announcing of the "New Talent of the Year".

Before the finals, there will be the second round of the competition on 3 October. Two chamber music concerts will be part of it. Both will be played in Bratislava and both will be offered for live broadcast. The first one will start at 15.00 GMT and the second at 18.00 GMT. On 6 October the jury will announce the three finalists. During the closing concert on 10 October they will be accompanied by a symphony orchestra led by an internationally renowned conductor. The whole event will be a part of the Euroradio Concert Season. 

Euroradio New Talent is the European competition dedicated to promote young musicians. Candidates may not be over age 28 for instrumentalists, or over age 30 for singers. It is organized by Euroradio on behalf of International Music Council (IMC).  The semi-finals and finals, in the form of public concerts, are made available as pink offers and offered for live broadcast to all Euroradio Members.

The winner of the New Talent 2013 is Romanian violinist Răzvan Stoica. His performance was accompanied by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pawel Przytocki. This broadcast reached an estimated audience of 1,950,000 radio listeners via the Euroradio music exchange.
