After a ten-year absence, the Euroradio Folk Festival (EFF) returns to Poland. From 8 to 11 July, this annual EBU event, launched in 1980, joins forces with the Crossroads Festival in the historic and picturesque city of Krakow to present the best of folk and traditional music from Europe and well beyond.

The growing interest in a genre once thought to be nearly extinct, or at best archaic, is reflected in the variety of exciting acts presented at this year's EFF. Audiences will be able to choose from live performances on four stages by stars ranging from Russia's Arkady Shilkloper and Switzerland's Robin Mark to Maria Kalaniemi from Finland and Kepa Junkera from Spain. The guest list also includes artists from as far afield as Korea.

All concerts will be recorded by Polish Radio and made available to EBU Members via the Euroradio music exchange (M2M) by 17 July.
