EBU invites tenders for Eurovision Family of Events contracts

The EBU has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to run the supporting services connected to the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) and Eurovision Family of Events (EFE). These are the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and the Eurovision Young Dancers and Eurovision Young Musicians competitions.

The ITT is split into 4 packages:

- Management of ESC & EFE online editorial & commercial activities

- Management of ESC & EFE online logistics tools

- Provision of IT facilities and support for ESC & EFE online activities

- Management of ESC & EFE communications & press relationships

The EBU is asking interested parties to bid for at least one of the packages.

All services shall begin on 1 July 2016 for an initial duration of 3 years. If required, a handover period will take place between March and June 2016 to enable the successful bidder(s) to have access to information regarding the planning, production and promotion of the Eurovision Song Contest - the flagship show in the Eurovision Family of Events.

“This is a unique chance to support the Eurovision Song Contest, the world’s biggest entertainment show, as well as the three other key EBU Media Department events," said Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand.

“Between them these fun, engaging shows reach over 200 million TV viewers across the globe and more online. The EBU is looking forward to working with the most talented, creative people in the industry to take these already successful brands to a whole new level,” he added.

Requests for information about the tender can be forwarded between 19 - 26 October.

All proposals must be received by the EBU by 13 November with selected bidder(s) invited to present proposals during the week beginning 23 November. The successful bidder(s) will be informed by 18 December.

Detailed information can be found on a pdf document at the side of this page. Questions about the Invitation to Tender should be directed to vulliez@ebu.ch.
