Andrijana Kadija has been elected as the new Director General of Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG).

An experienced journalist, Kadija has been working in the media industry since 1995. After completing her journalism degree at the University of Belgrade, she served an apprenticeship at Radio Crne Gore before going on to host and edit the morning programme on TV Montenegro. She produced and hosted numerous prime time shows before becoming Director of TV Montenegro in 2016. She has been acting as Director General of RTCG since last December and has now been confirmed in the post after three rounds of voting.

Kadija said her long-term goal was to restore confidence in public service media: "I want employees to be proud of working in the public service. I want to regain their satisfaction and the trust of citizens."
