In a class of her own: how BBC Maestro revived Agatha Christie to teach crime writing

When Agatha Christie gave Miss Marple the words ‘All that has been, is eternal’ in her 1929 story ‘The Blue Geranium’, she might have been pleased to know their truth would apply to her own virtuosity nearly a century later.

On the other hand, she may have been downright uneasy with the idea. Since she died in 1976, we’ll never know, but we can make a fair guess, thanks to BBC Maestro.
