The Supervisory Board and the Programme Council of Croatian EBU Member HRT elected the third and final member of the Board of Directors on 29th September, 2011, enabling the new Board to assume its functions.

According to the HRT statutes, the Board of Directors must have a Chief Executive Officer and two other Board Members.

The CEO is Josip Popovac, and the Board Members are Zoran Mihajlovic and Marko Ugarkovic.

Mr Popovac was acting Director General of HRT, Mr Mihajlovic was acting Director of Croatian Radio and Mr Ugarkovic was Director of Sales at HRT.

The move brings a two-year interim state to an end and, with the full authority of the Board of Directors, HRT can now start the important process of stabilisation and development.
