Line-up sealed for Saturday's Eurovision Song Contest Final

Baku, 24 May 2012 – The second group of ten acts going through to Saturday's Eurovision Song Contest Final were selected in tonight's Semi-Final, broadcast live from Azerbaijan's Baku Crystal Hall.

In alphabetical order, professional jurors from 18 countries and the viewers have selected:

The qualifiers will join host country Azerbaijan, the 'Big Five' (Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Spain) and the 10 semi-finalists that won on Tuesday night.

The Final will be transmitted live over the Eurovision and Euroradio networks to Europe and beyond, by Azeri EBU Member Ictimai TV. It was the song Running Scared,  sung by the duo Ell/Nikki that gave Azerbaijan its first Eurovision Song Contest win in 2011 and the right to host this year's event.

The running order of countries in the final will be determined by a draw. Viewers in the 42 countries participating in the Eurovision Song Contest will vote for their favourite songs via a pan-European televoting system, which will open after all contestants have performed. In addition, professional juries in each of those countries will have a 50% stake in the outcome. The professional juries each comprise six delegates.

EBU Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand says the stage is set for a night of great entertainment. "The 57th Eurovision Song Contest is Europe's favourite TV show, guaranteeing everyone is a winner on the night. Whether you're at Baku Crystal Hall or sitting in front of a screen, you won't want to miss a moment."
