IMPS on the way to Finland

Following a successful first visit to Radio Bremen earlier this month, the IMPS programme is now inviting EBU Members to visit YLE, the national broadcaster in Finland. The two-day visit (17-18 September) will give participants the chance to learn about the steps taken over the last decade in order to achieve full integration. They will also discover YLE's unique News Centre which coordinates planning and resource allocation for all of YLE's news production.
As explained in the video below, shot at the recent Radio Bremen visit, IMPS is dealing with two different issues. According to moderator Henrik Keith Hansen, "one is the technical side, and the other one is the editorial, organizational side - these sides have to walk hand-in-hand and they have to understand each other". EBU Members are welcome to join the IMPS programme and participate in the visit to YLE on 17-18 September. The visit is coordinated by EBU TRAINING. Click here for information and registration.
