Concertino Praga 2013: 5 laureates out of 26 participants

Concertino Praga, organized by Czech Radio since 1966, is aimed at young musicians aged 18 or under. The Competition is a Member of the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY). It is held under auspices of the European Broadcasting Union.

The jury sitting of the 47th year of the International Radio Competition for young Musicians, "Concertino Praga 2013" took place on February 9th and 10th, 2013, in Czech Radio in Prague.

The jurors listened to 26 recordings in the following categories: classical guitar (7), piano (7), violin (11) and cello (1).

The recordings were sent from 15 countries: Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic and Ukraine.

The laureates that will perform at the concert in Rudolfinum on June 16th are:


Maria-Alexandra Bobeico (Romania), violin
Victor Maslov (Russia), piano
Pavel Verkhaturov (Russia), piano
Barbora Kubíková (Czech Republic), classical guitar
Hedvika Svendová (Czech Republic), classical guitar
