Sign up for this half-day event in Brussels on May 30 and join media visionaries as they debate the future cultural, societal and democratic role of the media and related EU policies.

Engage, Empower, Enjoy!  will explore in particular, how a 'Media Agenda for Europe' can ensure that the media ecosystem remains driven by the creation of great content, and reaches audiences in the way in which they seek.  

Within this framework, the event will assess challenges, opportunities and solutions for public service media (PSM) and ask how the values PSM foster, benefit audiences and the broader sector.

Moderated by RAI News 24 director Monica Maggioni, the day will follow a lively news format, mixing interviews, discussions, video clips and live reporting.

Keynote speakers include Pat Rabbitte, the Irish Minister for Communications, and Jan Truszczyński, the Director General of DG Culture and Education.

The event is part of the four day Eurovision AND Euroradio 2013 Media Summit which takes place in Brussels from May 28 to 31.
