This unique cultural event will take place on 7 September in the heart o Kashmir. Maestro Zubin Mehta will conduct the world-renowned Bavarian State Orchestra in the Mughal Gardens, Srinagar, Kashmir.

The Indian world-icon of classical music will be at the baton for the open-air "Kashmir Concert". This is the first time that such an international high-level cultural event will take place in Kashmir.

The event is dedicated to the people of Kashmir, making Yubin Mehta's dream of sending through music a cultural message of hope and support to the people of this trobuled region a reality.

This unique cultural event is organized with the support of the German Embassy in New Delhi, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and the Indian Government. It will be broadcast live in HD by Doordashan in India and BR (Bayerischer Rundfunk).
