The Euroradio Music Exchange is proud to be offering Members recordings of the first American symphonic ensemble to tour Cuba in more than 15 years.

In conjunction with the decision by President Obama earlier this year to begin normalizing relations with Cuba, which have been frozen for over half a century, the Minnesota Orchestra visited the island in May to give two historic concerts.

The sold out performances took place in Havana under Music Director Osmo Vänskä. The orchestra also visited schools and played on the streets. All of its appearances met with a warm reception by local music-lovers.

The first concert was broadcast live by EBU Associate Member Minnesota Public Radio, and both concerts are now available for EBU Members in MUS, our music exchange platform.
