Euroradio drama producers and programme-makers are being urged to "take a leap into the future" as they gather for their annual Workshop, held this year on 21-22 April in Prague at the invitation of EBU Member Czech Radio.

The presentations aimed at the approximately 80 participants from 20 Euroradio Members will include such topics as how to reach out to new and younger audiences, improvisation and silence as featured in the radio plays of Prix Europa winner Paul Plamper from Germany, a "Sound Sauna" on the advantages and drawbacks of recording radio fiction outdoors, listening sessions with excerpts from international competition award-winning productions and a focus on Ars Acustica.

Of special interest will be the plenary session on Friday afternoon, where participants will be asked to produce multiple interpretations of a short Franz Kafka text, as they build together a piece exploring the multiple layers of radio drama.

Elections will also be held for the Radio Drama Group for the period 2016-2017.
