Eurovision Song Contest to air live in US once again
27 avril 2017The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is excited to partner with Viacom's Logo channel for the second consecutive year as the exclusive broadcast home of the Eurovision Song Contest in the United States of America (US).
Logo will air the 62nd Grand Final live and commercial free on Saturday 13 May at 1500 ET / 1200 PT.
Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews, stars of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’, will commentate on the event for Logo’s viewers. Throughout the three-hour live broadcast, the Logo commentators will offer background on the event and contextualize the competition for American audiences while introducing them to contestants from each of the 42 competing countries.
The 2017 Grand Final and winner’s ceremony will also be streamed live exclusively for US viewers at www.logotv.com and on the LogoTV mobile app. The Contest reaches an audience of over 200 million worldwide and past contestants who are well known in the US include ABBA, Celine Dion and Olivia Newton-John.
The Eurovision Song Contest’s Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand said: “The EBU is thrilled to be partnering with Logo for the second year running to bring the unique spectacle of the Eurovision Song Contest LIVE to US audiences once again."

The 62nd annual Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine (UA:PBC) at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv on 9, 11 and 13 May.
