Congratulations to all 13 winning organizations (BBC, SVT, ARD, ARTE, DR, FTV, LRT, NRK, RAI, RTVE, VRT, WDR and YLE) and a huge thank you to all the Awards participants, who despite the COVID-19 situation, managed to keep the EBU Connect spirit up and submit their work.
A special mention to BDA Creative and Massive Music for their support in refreshing the EBU Connect Awards look and feel, and creating these brand new 2020 Awards animations!
2020 ONLINE AWARDS
For the first time, the EBU Connect Awards 2020 voting took place online, further to the cancellation of the 2020 event due to the COVID-19 situation.
The online voting was open from Wednesday 6 May to Thursday 14 May to those who originally registered for the 2020 conference in Stockholm and/or submitted their promos online on the EBU Showcase platform. More than 50 professionals from 17 Member organizations cast their votes for their favorites promos.
2020 AWARDS NOMINEES
Nominees for the EBU Connect Awards were selected by the EBU Connect Steering Group for the event.
Over 200 promos were submitted and a total of 65 promos nominated in their relevant categories, featuring work from 3SAT, ARD, ARTE, BBC, CTV, DR, FTV, LRT, NRK, NDR, RAI, RSI, RTVE, RUV, SVT, VPRO, VRT, WDR, YLE and ZDF.
