Venue announced for News Xchange 2013

This year's News Xchange will be hosted by EBU Member SNRT in Marrakech, Morocco. The event, billed as a 'thought-provoking conversation' about international news, kicks off on Wednesday, November 13.
The three-day conference provides media executives with an opportunity to connect, collaborate and challenge one another about news, now, and in the future.
Head of Strategic Events Peter Vickers says the focus of this year's theme, 'Insight,' encapsulates the spirit of the News Xchange, giving conference-goers practical information, as well as thought-provoking inspiration.
"This year, we plan to delve into topics more deeply to give delegates more context, greater understanding and better tools, resources and ideas to address challenges and optimize opportunities," said Mr Vickers.
Further programme details are expected in May.
