Showtime For Eurovision Showcase
03 juillet 2013
The EBU has unveiled the next generation of Eurovision Showcase – its bespoke web platform used as a content and talent market by major broadcasters and producers around the world.
The site, which was launched by the EBU in 2012, provides a platform for media professionals to promote and share their work with the largest association of national TV broadcasters in the world.
The new-look platform is also the content home of media conferences and competitions such as the Eurovision Connect Awards, The Creative Forum, The Erfurt Exchange, Eurovision Film Week and the prestigious Rose d'Or Awards.
Service Manager Andy Wood says this new generation is now fully mobile responsive for content consumption on any platform, and offers users a range of media tools specifically designed to help promote content rights, their creative skills and brand.

“Users can upload clips, trailers and even full programmes to the platform. They can create public or private branded screening rooms to control exactly who can see their work, and they can now embed their programmes on other websites and see viewing statistics, including total views, top referring sites and keywords,” said Mr Wood.
“Showcase enables users to promote Film or TV programme rights, and if you are a content publisher or broadcaster, you can find fresh, high-quality programming for your channels,” he said. “If you are creating content as an independent or an individual, Eurovision Showcase is the ideal place to showcase portfolio and your talent, and to reach out to the media industry.”
“Eurovision Showcase is growing fast with over 1000 media professionals registered and over 1500 public and private programmes already uploaded.”
