The Euroradio Music Group met in Lugano on 12-13 September at the headquarters of EBU Member CHRSI (Italian-Swiss Radio). Aside from attending concerts by local orchestras and visiting the Lugano Cultural Centre (to open in 2015), highlights of the meeting were:

• Discussed continuing negotiations on supplementary hire fees with music publishers, and planned meeting with Ricordi and Sikorski
• Welcomed ITRAI as a new member of Euroclassic-Notturno night-time programming
• Decided on a Euroradio series for 2014 devoted to music in Christian rites
• Approved a new scheme for the Euroradio Jazz Group, to be proposed to the Jazz Producers
• Finalized preparations for the Britten and Strauss anniversaries and commemoration of the First World War
• Brainstormed on the Music Group’s vision of its work within the EBU in the next five years.
