Rose d'Or Awards: Call for final submissions

The final countdown is underway to register for entertainment’s biggest international awards ceremony – the Rose d’Or.

The closing date for submissions, which have for the first time been extended to all media platforms including online video, radio and television, is Friday 28 March 2014.

Now into its 53rd year, the Eurovision awards pay tribute to outstanding achievement in entertainment programming and recognise the highest levels of creativity and excellence from producers and broadcasters the world over.

With six categories for television and online video (Arts, Factual & Reality Entertainment, Game Show, Comedy, Sitcom, and Entertainment) and three brand new categories covering radio (Comedy, Entertainment, and Reality & Factual Entertainment), the Rose d’Or remains the biggest and most influential international entertainment awards event.

Eurovision Media Director Annika Nyberg Frankenhaeuser says submissions have so far been fielded from as far away as Japan and Canada.

“The Rose d’Or is about seeking out the best of the very best,” said Ms Annika Nyberg Frankenhaeuser, “whether it reflects public service or commercial interests across all platforms - TV, online video or radio - our goal is to be inclusive and to celebrate distinctive programmes of quality.”
