Registrations filling fast for EBU Knowledge Exchange on ‘contribution to society’
14 août 2015
Only a handful of places are left for next month’s EBU Knowledge Exchange in Geneva (14-15/9) on the contribution public service media (PSM) make to society.
A key feature of this year’s event is a workshop exclusive to Members on the second day.
Following inspiring presentations from a diverse range of speakers on the first day, Members will gather to discuss how these insights can be applied to their organizations, and the challenges in doing so.
Sharing their experiences will be:
- Klaus Unterberger, Head of the Public Value department, ORF (Austria)
- Tomas Coppens, Acting Head of the Research Department, VRT (Belgium)
- Per-Erik Wolff, Manager of Public Affairs/Media Policy, ARD General Secretariat (Germany)
The discussion will be led by Ruurd Bierman, EBU consultant project manager and former member of the Executive Board of Dutch public broadcaster, NPO.
The workshop will conclude with the EBU Media Intelligence Service (MIS) presenting its methodology proposal to help Members address the issue of reporting on their contribution to society.
