Spring has sprung: Euroradio folk offer celebrates the season in song

Euroradio is pleased to launch its annual Spring and Easter Folk Project, which is available to all EBU Members and Associates for download from M2M (FM/16/03/01/01- password only).
For 2016, the extremely varied contributions include:
- Russian Easter songs, traditionally performed by musicians wandering from house to house (pictured)
- A harp solo played by its 15-year-old Austrian composer
- A three-part women’s harmony group from Ireland
- A blend of jazz and Moravian folk music from the Czech Republic.
The 17 participating Euroradio broadcasters for the Spring and Easter Folk Project are:
PRA (Armenia), ORF (Austria), BNR (Bulgaria), HRTR (Croatia), CR (Czech Republic), ERR (Estonia), ARD/BR (Germany), ERT (Greece), RTÉ (Ireland), RTM (Moldova), RTP (Portugal), ROR (Romania). RTR-Radio Russia (Russia), RTS (Serbia), RTVS (Slovakia), SR (Sweden), NTU (Ukraine).
