On 14 October, we explored the important role that public service media plays in national defence, disaster response, and building resilient societies at an event in the European Parliament. It offered a valuable opportunity to hear discussions between media professionals and policymakers that highlighted how public service media supports European unity and safeguards shared values in times of crisis. The event was co-organized by MEP Hélder Sousa Silva with the support of the European People's Party and the Intergroup on Resilience, Disaster Management and Civil Protections.
