Group of European Audience Researchers (GEAR)

Heads of research from EBU Members come together in this network to exchange professional audience research experience, knowledge, methods and reports across a broad range of topics.

One person per organization can join. Members meet in person for an annual event (usually in May) and work together virtually throughout the year to resolve queries within the group.

Measuring New Media Group (MNM)

Measuring New Media (MNM) is a peer network of research, analytics, and data experts from around 20 of the most advanced public service media organizations, focused primarily on digital/online measurement. Its objective is to bridge research and measurement perspectives through practical exchange, sharing approaches and learnings on how to measure and interpret digital/online audience behaviours. Members connect on ad hoc questions throughout the year and meet once annually for a 1.5-day workshop covering areas such as measurement methods, data inputs and tools, reporting and data accessibility. Topics discussed also include sign-in/personalisation data, analytics metrics and AI in research, among others.
