CBC/Radio-Canada's Post-Crisis Reviews

CBC/Radio-Canada has established a highly structured and systematic approach to post-crisis reviews. Their after-action reviews (AARs) are designed not only to capture lessons learned, but to embed continuous improvement as a core part of organizational practice. AARs take a broad, organization-wide perspective at CBC/Radio-Canada, examining not only technical failures such as outages or cyber incidents, but also operational processes, as well as editorial and production workflows.
The following case study draws on insights from interviews with Emma Bédard, Daniel Baigné and Amelie Bolduc from CBC/Radio-Canada.
