Palma Ars Acustica

The Prix Palma Ars Acustica is an international competition organized by the Euroradio Ars Acustica Group to promote and honour outstanding productions of authors in the world of Ars Acustica: radio art, sound art, media art, text sound compositions, electroacoustic music, electronics, live electronica, etc. The Regulations can be found here.

The 2018 Palma Ars Acustica was held in Ljubljana on 14-16 June on the fringes of the Ars Acustica Plenary Meeting. The winner, announced on 16 June, was Hanna Hartman. 


Expressing her gratitude and delight at receiving the 2018 Prix PAA, Hartman said: "When I was a child, public radio opened doors for me to magical new worlds. I am so honoured and so happy!"

Currently residing in Berlin, Hanna Hartman studied literature and theatre history at the Universities of Uppsala and Stockholm, radio and interactive art at the Dramatiska Institutet and electroacoustic music at the Electronic Music Studio (EMS) in Stockholm.
