How RÚV built an educational platform for children during the coronavirus pandemic


When the pandemic broke out, the Icelandic government asked Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV), Iceland's national public-service broadcasting organization, to help build a platform that would help educate children at home. Baldvin Thor Bergsson, Director of Digital Media and Radio 2 at RÚV, explains how put this platform together in record time, focusing on exisitng school curriculum while also managing to add hundreds of hours of programming.

This talk was a part of the 2021 Digital Assembly session entitled, "Won't somebody please think about the children".
