EBU/BBC webinar on major new AI assistant research

Join us for this special EBU webinar to unpack the findings of a landmark international study led by the BBC and EBU that exposes how AI assistants mishandle news.

We will formally launch the report, ‘News Integrity in AI Assistants – An International PSM Study’, at the EBU News Assembly on 22 October.

The research, spanning 22 organizations, 18 countries, and 14 languages, lays out the first systematic evidence at scale that AI assistants distort news in ways that endanger trust in journalism.

Speakers from the BBC and EBU will present the report’s troubling findings, its implications for public service news and the action that’s needed to address the issue.
